Insight Inside is the latest work by Clo Bourgard, in which the artist recycled waste materials from the laboratories and clinical space of the Champalimaud Center in order to create sculptures that encourage reflection on the inner aesthetics of the human being. His work was built on sustainable thinking, where recycling is the main mechanism of creation.
This work is part of the art-science-health residency project that Clo Bourgard is being developed at the Champalimaud Foundation, within the scope of the Bridges to the unknown program.The artist has, under this artistic residency, the opportunity to add elements from the different areas of action of the Champalimaud Foundation to her artistic work, such as neuroscience and oncology.
The sculptures will be for sale exclusively on the P55.ART website and 20% of the sales value of the pieces will go to the non-profit Association Mama Help, which offers support to breast cancer patients and their families.
