She was born in Lisbon in 1940. She studied at the cooperative engraving in Lisbon and at Ateliê 17 in Paris, with S.W. Hayter. She graduated in Fine Arts at the University of Rotterdam. She was awarded with several scholarships by the Ministry of Dutch culture and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. Her work is present on several collections, in Portugal and abroad. She passed away in July 2020 in Amsterdam at the age of 80.
