Pop art or pop art is an artistic movement that exposes massification of popular culture, creatively and vibrantly, from common domestic objects, consumer products, celebrities, magazines or cartoons such as CokeSoup cans Campbell, Marilyn Monroe or Mickey mouse. It appears in the 1950s in the United Kingdom, but it is in the United States of America in the 1960s, which dominates the artistic world with Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Richard Hamilton, Marjorie Strider and Claes Oldenburg. These artists have used mechanical or commercial printing techniques, such as the serigraphy, in order to reject the main artistic movement of the previous decade, abstract expressionism.
