Frescoes from Cinema Batalha, a building designed by the architect Artur Andrade, after several studies, some in the deposit of the Atelier-Museum Júlio Pomar). The theme of the work ends up being fixed in the dances of the São João festivities, typical of the popular neighborhoods of Porto. The frescoes are executed in 1947 and destroyed in 1948.
CERAMIC PANEL FROM BOTEQUIM DO LAGO, 1950

Ceramic panel on one of the interior walls of Botequim do Lago (currently Casa do Lago), integrated in the arrangement of the green area of Campo Grande (currently Jardim Mário Soares), in Lisbon, designed by the architect Keil do Amaral. The panel, executed at the Cerâmica Bombarralense Limitada factory, in Bombarral, was the first experience of Júlio Pomar with tiles. The design is inspired by the vegetation of the garden that surrounds it, as well as the animals that inhabit it, namely peacocks, swallows and butterflies.

High-reliefs and sculptures in patinated cement, ceramics and beaten aluminum for the main façade of Mercado da Pontinha, designed by architects Victor Palla and Bento d'Almeida. Currently, the work has been greatly altered, with the high relief having been moved from the market façade and integrated into an autonomous pedestal of the building, in a Tribute to the Vendors of the Old Market of Pontinha, promoted in 2003 by the Parish Council.

If you pass by Avenida Infante Santo, notice this panel of tiles. It is a work from 1958 signed by Júlio Pomar It is Alice Jorge, a composition in soft tones that brings together typical figures from Lisbon at that time.
TILES AT THE ALTO DOS MOINHOS METRO STATION, 1989

Based on the idea of honoring four names of Portuguese letters, Camões, Bocage, Pessoa, Almada and, bearing in mind that graffiti appears naturally and spontaneously in public spaces, Júlio Pomar decided to anticipate the anonymous hands, placing there graffiti of his own authorship. João Castel-Branco Pereira says: “Pomar embodies a warrior and gallant Camões, memorist of a poetically fictional homeland history, in medieval duels, exoticisms from the East and fiery loves on mythical islands. Another way of being Portuguese is what the artist registers in Bocage, an irreverent and sarcastic narrator of burlesque stories, which however does not reveal a tenebrous awareness of life. From the 20th century, two emblematic figures of our contemporaneity are represented: Fernando Pessoa and Almada Negreiros. The first, a character in the modern drama of the impossibility of the individual being only one, multiplying himself into different heteronyms, sitting simultaneously at the same table in the urban café. The second, cosmopolitan, making his integrity explode in the diversity of talents, Harlequin of his drawings, elegant city dweller, passionate about seeing, always attentive observer”.

Ceramic panel Participation, executed by Raton Cerâmicas, at the Municipal Assembly of Lisbon. Project entitled »Carta de Lisboa» conceived by Galeria Raton, which challenged a group of eleven artists (Andreas Stäcklein, Eduardo Batarda, Graça Morais, Irene Burg; Jorge Martins, Lourdes Castro, Manuel Vieira, Maria Beatriz, Pedro Proença It is Sofia Areal) to illustrate words that define the city. Júlio Pomar represents the word Parricipaão, the first word to appear on the mural. The project is an integral part of the Citizenship Forum.
