2023 Nobel Prize for Literature awarded to Jon Fosse
The Swedish Academy distinguished playwright, fiction writer and poet Fosse, 64, for his “innovative plays and prose that gives voice to the unspeakable”, according to the justification for the award read by the permanent secretary of the Nobel Committee, Mats Malm, at a ceremony in Stockholm .
