Who is Chloe Lamb?
Today, Chloë Lamb is a contemporary painter whose abstract oil paintings veer into the realm of figurative representation. Chloë Lamb attended the Heatherley School of Fine Art and studied with Robin Child at the Lydgate Art Research Centre. His style is influenced by the gestural and expressionist works of Richard Diebenkorn, Henri Matisse and Ivon Hitchens. Lamb builds his compositions through an improvised marking technique, in which each of his compositions is determined according to the shape and tone of the first mark he makes on the canvas.
